1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, subscribe, or interact with our platform:

  • Account information: Name, email address, and profile picture (if signing in with Google).
  • Lead capture: Name, email, church name, and phone number when submitted through our signup form.
  • Payment information: Billing details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers. We retain your Stripe Customer ID to manage your subscription.
  • Usage data: Download history, pages visited, coaching content accessed, and general platform activity to improve your experience and enforce subscription limits.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain your account and subscription
  • To process payments and manage billing through Stripe
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts, subscription updates)
  • To send marketing emails about new sermon series, features, and promotions (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To enforce download limits for monthly subscription plans
  • To improve the platform based on usage patterns
  • To provide customer support

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data:

  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe collects and stores your payment information securely. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Google OAuth — Optional sign-in method. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Amazon SES — Email delivery for transactional and marketing emails.
  • Vercel — Hosting and infrastructure. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
  • Neon — Database hosting (serverless Postgres).

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the platform. These include:

  • Essential cookies: Required for authentication and core platform functionality. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: Help us understand usage patterns and improve the platform. You can opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes (e.g., transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax compliance).

Download history and usage logs are retained for the duration of your subscription to enforce download limits and provide customer support.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication (JWT tokens), and industry-standard infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccurate information in your account
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
  • Export your data upon request

8. Children's Privacy

YPCO is a platform for youth pastors and ministry leaders, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Email Communications

By creating an account or submitting your information through any of our properties (youthpastor.co, youthmin.org, youthgroupgames.com, youthgrouplessons.com, or multiplycurriculum.com), you consent to receiving email communications from Youth Pastor Co. These may include product updates, new series announcements, and promotional content. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Your continued use of YPCO after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
